Recently , there is news released that after the end of Microsoft-Nokia deal prior to the end of April, one news is leaked in Finland shows is that Nokia ovi will be soon going to be renamed as Microsoft Mobile Oy.
In a report it is says that wmpoweruser.com is a website that keeps track of all development related to Windows Phone, in a letter Nokia has informed to Finland sellers that the deal with Microsoft will end as soon as possible. But Both Nokia and Microsoft have asked in March that this deal will close in the month of April. It must be noted that after the end of the transactions between Microsoft and Nokia, the name of Nokia Corporation or the Nokia ovi will converted to Microsoft Mobile Oy. According to the leaked letter- “It is said that Microsoft Oy is the legal name which should be used for the VAT IDs and for invoices.
Ovi is the short form of “public stock company” on the other hand the Oy is used for “corporation”. The end of deal between the two doesn’t mean the closure of Nokia.In an alternative way it means closure of Nokia as the public knows it. Mainly, Microsoft is buying the one part of Nokia’s mobile phones, as well as the whole teams that make quality phones. But Microsoft is not buying the area that is accountable for network devices business. After all these information it is clear that Microsoft has bought the license to use the Nokia brand name for ten years in a $7.2 billion deal. Microsoft has also captured the rights to use the Lumia and Asha brand of Nokia as a part of previous deal and it is also agreed by the Nokia not to make the smartphone or phone of its own Nokia’s brand before the end of 2015.
